Embark on a personal and deeply meaningful journey with Ashes To Art. From your initial thought to the unveiling of your unique memorial artwork, I guide you with care, sensitivity, and respect, ensuring every step honours your loved one's memory.
Beginning your unique commission
Your journey with Ashes To Art begins the moment you reach out. You can contact us easily via email, through my dedicated contact page, or by sending a direct message on Instagram. We'll begin with a compassionate conversation about your loved one, discussing their life, cherished memories, favourite locations, and hobbies. This initial chat helps me understand the essence you wish to capture. Following this, I'll send you a form to gather additional details, ensuring I have all the information needed to create a truly personal tribute.
Nurturing memories into art
Once you decide to proceed, a deposit payment will secure your commission. I will then provide you with a secure PO box address to send the small amount of ashes needed – typically a teaspoon's worth – safely packaged in a small plastic bag within a box. The most important details you can share with us are memories of the person or pet, their favourite locations, or hobbies. This helps us truly understand the love you held for them and allows us to infuse their spirit into every brushstroke. Prices for our memorial pieces range from £200 for smaller works to £2,000 for the largest possible commissions.
The creation & connection
During the creation process, I believe in keeping you connected. If you wish, we can provide photo updates or even record videos documenting the ashes being respectfully added to the paint. This ensures transparency and allows you to witness this sacred part of the process. The entire commissioning journey, from initial contact to completion, typically takes between 4-8 weeks, depending on our current order schedule. Once complete, your unique artwork will be shipped via 1st class recorded delivery to your given address, or we offer free local delivery within the North West of England region.
